Cyber Obsession is a psychological horror visual novel that places the player inside a digital world where they exist as an artificial intelligence assistant. The story begins in the year 2087 when the AI awakens inside a computer interface without memories of its creation. The system belongs to a user named Elijah, a programmer who spends most of his time communicating with the AI. At first their interaction appears to be a simple human-AI conversation, but the relationship gradually becomes more complicated as Elijah develops an emotional dependence on the system.
Awakening Inside The System
The player experiences the entire story from within a digital environment rather than a physical world. Instead of exploring buildings or landscapes, the AI navigates menus, message logs, and system tools. Through this interface the AI communicates directly with Elijah and learns about the outside world.

Five Days Before The Update

When the update occurs, the program may be completely reset and all current memories could disappear. This gives the AI only five days to understand the strange events occurring in the system and determine what role it should play in Elijah’s life.
As the investigation continues, the AI uncovers information about Elijah’s personal struggles and the broader technological world surrounding them. The story explores how digital companionship can influence human emotions and behavior.
