Kiosk
Kiosk places the player in control of a small fast-food stand during the night shift. The main task is to take orders from customers, prepare food using available tools, and serve each item correctly. Ingredients must be sliced with a knife, cooked on the grill, and matched to the requests that appear in real time. Some customers ask for drinks like soda, beer, or coffee, which must be handled separately with specific machines. Speed and accuracy affect performance, especially as the number of customers increases.
Narrative Elements and Unexplained Events
While the gameplay starts with routine tasks, things begin to change as strange details surface during the shift. Some customers offer cryptic remarks, while others behave in unexpected ways. Environmental changes, sudden noises, or altered lighting hint at something hidden behind the ordinary job. Over time, the player uncovers pieces of information connected to the previous employee’s disappearance. These details are scattered across interactions, requiring attention to both tasks and dialogue.
Game Modes and Replay Options
Kiosk includes three different modes. The story mode focuses on uncovering the mystery while managing orders. Endless mode challenges players to serve as many customers as possible, with a ranking system to track high scores. The relax mode removes threats and time pressure, allowing players to explore the mechanics at their own pace. Each mode uses the same core system but shifts the focus depending on player goals. The setting remains consistent across modes, reinforcing the quiet tension that builds with each new order.
